General Questions
What is HRMN Health?
HRMN Health is a personalized hormone and wellness clinic serving adults with treatments for hormone optimization, thyroid disorders, medical weight loss, PCOS, vitamin deficiencies, and overall health improvement. Our approach combines evidence-based medicine with individualized care to support long-term health and overall wellness.
Who is HRMN Health for?
Our programs are designed for adults experiencing symptoms related to hormonal imbalance, such as fatigue, weight changes, low libido, mood swings, thyroid dysfunction, menopause symptoms, or metabolic concerns. Each treatment plan is tailored to the patient’s unique health profile, ensuring care that is personalized and clinically appropriate.
Where is HRMN Health located?
HRMN Health is located in Meridian, Idaho. We also offer telehealth appointments for eligible patients, providing convenient access to expert care from the comfort of home.
Do you offer telehealth appointments?
Yes. HRMN Health provides virtual appointments for patients who meet eligibility criteria. These appointments allow for comprehensive evaluation, lab review, and individualized treatment planning without requiring an in-person visit.
How long are appointments, and will they be worth my money?
We dedicate one hour for new female patients and 45 minutes for new male patients. Follow-up visits are 30 minutes. This allows providers to address multiple concerns in a single visit and dive deeper into underlying issues.
Insurance and Payments
Do you take insurance?
HRMN Health does not bill insurance directly. Payment for medical visits is required at the time of service. For patients with commercial insurance, we can provide a Superbill that can be submitted for potential reimbursement. Superbills are not available for Medicaid, Medicare, or Tricare, and reimbursement is not guaranteed. We also accept HSA/FSA payments and offer Cherry Financing for eligible patients.
Does the office visit fee cover labs and medications?
No. The office visit fee covers the appointment only. Labs and prescriptions are billed separately. Patients may use insurance when applicable, or take advantage of our competitive cash pricing. Labs and prescriptions can often be billed through insurance if coverage allows.
Hormone Therapy
Do you provide hormone pellets?
No. HRMN Health does not offer hormone pellet therapy. Our approach emphasizes personalized hormone management that can be adjusted over time for safety and optimal results.
Do you only provide bioidentical hormones?
Yes. We provide bioidentical hormone therapy in both pharmaceutical and compounded forms.
Are all of your providers trained in hormone therapy?
Yes. All HRMN Health providers are fully licensed healthcare professionals with specialized training in hormone management. They possess the clinical expertise to develop individualized treatment plans. Jamie Ruiz and Chelsey Galipeau have a combined 15 years of endocrinology experience, and Dr. Nathan Ward has extensive experience in men’s health. Jamie Ruiz and Chelsey Galipeau also provide extensive training for all female practitioners.
Do you offer peptide therapies?
Yes. We offer select peptide therapies that are compounded through a reputable pharmacy.
How do I know if I have a hormone imbalance?
Hormone imbalances may present with symptoms such as fatigue, brain fog, weight changes, mood swings, low libido, hair thinning, irregular cycles, or disrupted sleep. At HRMN Health, we confirm imbalances through a thorough medical evaluation and lab testing.
Is hormone replacement therapy safe?
Yes. When administered and monitored by qualified professionals, hormone replacement therapy is safe and effective. HRMN Health ensures safety through personalized dosing, lab monitoring, and regular follow-ups.
Do women benefit from testosterone therapy?
Yes. Women with low testosterone may experience fatigue, decreased muscle strength, low libido, or diminished overall wellness. Our protocols aim to restore balance safely, improving energy, mood, and quality of life.
Do your treatment options help with libido?
Depending on the cause of low libido, many therapies offered at HRMN Health can help.
How long does it take to feel results?
Patients may notice improvements within several weeks, with optimal results typically achieved in 2–3 months. Response varies depending on hormone levels, lifestyle, and adherence to treatment plans.
Do you also look at vitamin deficiencies and lifestyle guidance?
Yes. Evaluating vitamin levels such as vitamin D, B12, iron, and more is a crucial part of our care. We also provide guidance on lifestyle and supplements as part of individualized treatment.
What type of hormone therapy do you offer?
We provide personalized hormone replacement therapy using bioidentical hormones in pharmaceutical or compounded forms.
Can HRMN Health serve as my primary care provider (PCP)?
No. HRMN Health specializes exclusively in hormone management. For general health or urgent care needs, please consult your PCP or local urgent care.
How do I know which labs I need before my first appointment?
You do not need to select lab tests before your initial visit. Our providers have developed comprehensive hormone panels to establish a baseline and assess key biomarkers.
Can I be a patient if I live outside of Idaho?
We are working to open up additional state licensing, but at this time, you must physically be in the state of Idaho for your appointment. You can have an out-of-state address, but you would need to travel to Idaho for your visit. We are actively expanding licensing to additional states for future remote care.
Weight Loss
What makes HRMN Health’s weight loss program different?
Our medical weight loss programs focus on sustainable, long-term results by addressing metabolism, hormone balance, nutrition, and lifestyle. We do not promote crash diets.
How much weight can I lose?
Results vary based on metabolism, hormone balance, lifestyle habits, and adherence. Most patients experience steady, sustainable progress.
Will I regain weight after treatment?
Our programs emphasize long-term success through hormone optimization, nutrition education, and lifestyle modification.
Conditions Treated
What conditions do you treat?
We provide treatment for low testosterone, thyroid disorders, PCOS, menopause/perimenopause, vitamin deficiencies, weight challenges, hormonal acne, and hirsutism.
Do you treat thyroid conditions like Hashimoto’s or hypothyroidism?
